Monday was my good blogger-friend Emily’s birthday. She’s doing a full week jam-packed with cake-related guest posts on her blog, Life on Food, in order to commemorate her big day. Naturally, when she contacted me to contribute, I was in. I’d happily write a guest post for Emily on any given day, but you had to know I’d never turn down anything involving sweet, glorious cake. You suckered me right in, Emily!

Well, lucky for Emily, I’ve got the perfect way to take the cake during her 7-day celebration: Devil’s Food Sheet Cake w/ White Chocolate Funfetti Buttercream.  I’ve eaten more chocolate cakes than I can count in my lifetime, but none have ever come close to the superiority of this dark and delicious chocolate beast. This is the recipe I turn to time & time again, so impossibly moist and tender. You may think you’ve had a moist cake before, but it’ll taste like sandpaper after you try this rich, melt-in-your-mouth cake. And that deep chocolate flavor…oh wow. It’s so good, you don’t even need frosting. That means a lot coming from me, considering I would pump sugar into my body through an IV if I could.

But of course, you know I added frosting anyway.  This White Chocolate Funfetti Buttecream is luscious, rich, and creamy, with little rainbow confetti bits dotting the stark white surface. It perfectly contrasts the ultra-dark cake, creating a delicious angel-meets-devil experience.

Let’s strap on some party hats! Whether you’re celebrating a birthday or not, you can’t go wrong with this incredible Devils Food Sheet Cake, covered in rich White Chocolate Frosting and spotted with all the colors of the rainbow. It’s a simple concept, but made special with exceptional components like one hell of a chocolate cake, vibrant sprinkles, and a rich white chocolate icing. Plus, the fact that it’s a nice, thick sheet cake means you can serve more people, and decorating is a breeze. No fuss, no muss!

You need a slice of this sweet stuff ASAP. Head over to Emily’s to get yourself one right now.

Cake? There’s cake? Out of my way! :P

I love your cake recipes. They always look so yummy. I was hired to make a two layer red velvet for someone’s birthday this weekend. I’m also making chocolate cupcakes with salted caramel filling and chocolate frosting for the same party, as a way to advertise for future sales.
